The Snyder Group, LLC was founded by Spencer S. Tait and built around a few leading principals – Detail, Vision, Quality, Integrity, Value, Service and Team. Spencer grew up in the residential construction industry and has learned the importance of these words.
Spencer S. Tait
Founder and Team Leader at TSG
Spencer was born and raised in Moorestown and graduated from Moorestown High School in 2002. Always being drawn to hands on activities and wanting to understand how things were built and worked, Spencer naturally spent every summer in High School working around his family’s construction business. These summers offered the building blocks for learning the industry from the bottom up. Immediately after High School, Spencer pursued his childhood dream of working for his family’s construction business with the hopes of one day taking the reins as the second generation of leadership. While working full time, he continued his education through industry specific courses and classes in business management, leadership, products and installations. In 2014, Spencer realized it was time for him to independently chase his vision and resign from his position to start The Snyder Group. The company name is based on his middle name and Grandfathers last name of Snyder. With multiple generations of Moorestown running through his veins, he still calls this home with his wife Stephanie and their four children Bodie, Rogan, Penelope and Bauer. With the support of his family and the help of the great team he has around him, The Snyder Group has become a recognized name in Moorestown. Spencer hopes to one day pass The Snyder Group along to his children.
Timber Crafted Division Manager
Jeff was born and raised in Mount Laurel, NJ and graduated from Lenape High School in 2005. After high school Jeff stayed local to become a professional arborist and pursued that for 10 years. Naturally, being in the tree industry left him with access to many species of trees and sawmills. After creating his first live edge piece of furniture he found his passion and knew this was what he wanted to pursue for a career. Jeff currently calls Moorestown home with his wife Anissa and their children. Based out of this Moorestown home, he opened a small business creating custom one-of-a-kind pieces. It was a great opportunity to get established in the field and build great relationships with the local communities. In partnering with Spencer Tait and The Snyder Group, Jeff will have new opportunities for larger commissioned pieces, higher volume and larger shop space to accommodate all of your custom builds. Jeff is looking forward to creating one of a kind furniture pieces with our new Timber Crafting division.
Handyman Division Manager
Brad was born and raised in Moorestown, NJ and graduated from Moorestown High School in 2003. He went on to earn his degree in Business Administrations from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC where he graduated in 2007. Brad spent the early years of his career as a restaurant manager for the Ott’s Restaurant Group. He then moved on to work in Marketing for Artcraft Promotional Concepts while operating a small side business building custom Adirondack Chairs and other outdoor accessories. While helping update and renovate his family’s summer cottage on Lake Ontario, Brad developed the desire to work in the home services business and knew the timing was right to take on the role of creating the Snyder Group Handyman Division alongside owner, Spencer Tait. Brad currently resides in Riverton, NJ with his wife Alex and their two boys Johnny and James.
Karen Hare Eder
Karen was born and raised in Moorestown and is a 1994 graduate of MHS. Karen and her husband currently live in Moorestown with their two school age children. Growing up as the daughter of a local plumbing contractor who operated from her childhood home, Karen has been doing books and answering phones since she was just a kid. Following graduation, she went to work for a local gutter company where she found her interest in the home service industry. Karen worked for the same company for many years before eventually opening her own gutter company. After several years in business for herself, Karen and her husband had their first child and ultimately decided it was best to close her business so she could be a full-time mom. By 2019 it was time to re-enter the workforce and Karen was excited to join Spencer’s team at The Snyder Group.
Ryan was born in Connecticut and moved to Southern NJ in his younger years, where he graduated from Delsea in 2009. Ryan then went to college for Computer Science at Cumberland County. During his time in college, he was also a manager at a retail store. Just before getting his associates degree, he started working at The Home Depot. Ryan worked there for about two years, until he applied for a job at Avalon Flooring and Tile. He worked at Avalon for five and a half years until he decided it was time for a change. Ryan managed The Snyder Group account at Avalon, so he reached out to Spencer Tait to discuss the possibility of joining the team at TSG. Ryan happily joined the team and filled the vacancy in the Logistics Manager position, where he will assist in all scheduling and ordering as well as keeping our facility stocked and organized.
